Lousy markets, great graphics (first of a series)

While the markets tank, print and online publishers have been doing a great job lately composing graphical representations and visualizations of what's been going on.  This chart, which accompanied The Deal's Chain of Fools article on the sub-prime debacle, explains the flow of mortgage origination to Asset-backed security to CDO, CDO squared CDO cubed and CDS. The caption reads:

Modern Finance - The recipe for how $600 billion in sub-prime mortages can become a multi-trillion dollar mess:  Take those mortgages.
