Alacra Book Awarded SIIA CODiE Award

Alacra Book has been awarded a 2008 CODiE award in the category Best Solution Integrating Content into Workflow.

The CODiEs are a peer award; winners in each category are selected by the content, software and education companies that comprise the Software and Information Industry Association.

We were especially gratified to win in the Best Solution Integrating Content into Workflow category as that has been Alacra's mission from the start; to help our clients leverage their existing content subscriptions to be more effective in their jobs.

Software development is a collaborative process and our enhanced version of Alacra Book was the culmination of client input, product management, software development and testing, as well as the efforts of our account management team who worked with our clients to ensure a smooth rollout. I'd like to particularly recognize the efforts of product manager Janet Tarendash and vice president of technology Ajit Tharaken who spearheaded these efforts. And, of course, I'd like to thank our peers in the SIIA for their recognition.
