Alacra Year in Review - Alacra Current Awareness
(Posted by Janet Tarendash, Product Manager)
We concluded the summer of 2006 hot as ever with the release of Alacra Current Awareness, one of our “4C products”. Current Awareness provides users with co-mingled alerts from multiple content providers on the companies and executives in which they are interested. RSS feeds available through Current Awareness incorporate premium content from many of our partners providing:
Current Awareness users can define their own company watch lists and configure specific content filters for each firm. Delivery of email alerts can be set for a preferred time zone and emails are optimized for display on both the desktop and Blackberry.
Permissioning levels offer clients the ability to grant certain access rights to their user base. End users are enabled with basic system access to create and configure their own alerts. Group Administrators have additional capability to issue alerts to team members. Super Users have full system access and can monitor all group alerts for the firm, seamlessly add new users, and create statistical reports on vendor usage, subscribers of alerts, and companies monitored.
Since the initial release of Current Awareness, we have enhanced the product based on valuable feedback from our clients. In 2007 we plan to add new RSS feeds from our premium content partners and working hand-in-hand with customers to define new product features.
This is the fifth and final post in the Alacra Year in Review series.
