Last Tuesday the Wall Street Journal had an article titled Offices Co-Opt Consumer Web Tools Like 'Wikis' and Social Networking, that provided more anecdotal evidence that Web 2.0 technologies are increasingly being used for corporate knowledge management projects. "Businesses have stated to play catch-up, though, with many using free or cheap software available online." Companies mentioned in the article include Intel, SAP, IBM and Hill & Knowlton. As I've posted previously, it's only a matter of time before the knowledge management/social software adoption challenges disappear.
